“The removal of the restriction is a common sense approach which will see patients no longer having the disadvantage of seeing local public services disappearing because of a nonsense rule. The three year rule has been a real and practical issue which created unnecessary bureaucracy for pharmacists but its removal is only one small step towards tackling the increasing amount of bureaucracy that affects pharmacists and their teams on a daily basis. Pharmacy Voice will continue to campaign to reduce unnecessary regulation and administrative burdens, which drag on pharmacists and limit the time they have for doing what they do best – caring for their patients.”
